9/14 VRH response
Abigail Lubean - I Do
-super cool quality to her voice
-a really good original song
-she had very planned idea of which registers she would use throughout the song that added emotion
Luke Waite - Miracle of Miracles
-really good music theater tone
-character is very good even while just standing in one place
Johnny Richardson - Out There
-fleshed out character even just through facial expression
-make sure quiet isn't too quiet to hear with piano
-very nice crescendos
-consistent vibrato on 'ah' vowels
-he has the high notes so he just needs to not be scared of them - it sounds like he is holding back sometimes
Garrett Andrews - Someone Like You
-clear connection to the music
-maybe could have benefited from a higher key in the verse, and it sounds slike he could have handled it in the choruses
-seemed really nervous but definitely didn't need to be
-good recovery when Dallas got off
Christina Avery - something by Brahms
-beautiful tone
-seems like she could produce a lot more sound on the lower notes especially
Bella Wilson - I Dreamed a Dream of Life Gone By
-not always on the air
-really great character
-good negotiation of registers
-I liked the crescendos a lot
